For over 50 years, Festival of the Arts has been a community for a core of dedicated volunteer individuals who share a love for the arts, the community, and the festival family.
Working as a team, each Festival is planned and implemented through key committees:

These committees are made up of a diverse group of community involved people who bring leadership, planning, and problem solving skills together each year to create Festival of the Arts.  Want to be involved?

Production Committee

Want to be part of actually creating Festival 2025?  The production team is responsible for planning, staging, and implementing Festival; Our footprint, event budgeting, vendor selection, event set up and operation all fall under the Production Committee.

Food

Come for the art. Stay for the food.

Each year Grand Rapids area’s best profit and non-profit food vendors serve Festival goers with great tasting multi-cultural foods.

The Festival Food Committee is responsible for placing, managing and assisting our independent food vendors. If you love to eat, this is the committee for you.  Email us at food@festivalgr.org.

Note:  All Festival committees are already hard at work.  Working at a committee level does require a commitment of several hours or more a week, increasing as we move closer to Festival.  As with all committee positions, these are volunteer, unpaid positions.
